WORK HISTORY
Research Animal Scientist @US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS)
Madison, WI, US
My research focus is to improve nutrient utilization of forages and byproducts in the diets of high producing dairy cows. This includes evaluating the effect of forage quality on feed conversion efficiency and ruminal digestion and understanding how forage and diet characteristics affects milk production, milk composition, and nutrient excretion. Current studies focus on how diet formulation, feed additives, and management impacts feed efficiency while mitigating enteric methane emissions from dairy cattle.
