It is common knowledge to put the most important item you wish to communicate first and so I thought I should starrt by announcing that The Tapestry Initiative is producing THE FOURTH MOMENT a full length feature film, a daring blend of documentary and narrative fiction. For further information do visit the project\'s site at: http://thefourthmoment.com/-The Tapestry Initiative focus is in creating educational and cultural opportunities related to death, dying, loss and change that include learning opportunities for both individuals and organizations. Through a focus on questions, explored experientially, we can discover together the keys that unlock places of fear and apprehension in supported environments. Our core team and invited teachers facilitate learning experiences that are challenging and enriching for participants on this universal journey. The input that participants share continues to inform the ongoing ways that Tapestry creates programs offering effective, compassionate support. Whether one is facing or have had a major life changing transition, through illness or personal loss, in service as a care provider, either personally or professionally, the seminars, and media vehicles that the Tapestry Initiative is presenting will offer new combinations of ways to work with and befriend death and change as the ultimate teacher. We will explore ways to transform fear and grief into lucid acceptance and invite compassionate care of ourselves and others.Presently the main focus for Tapestry is as a media company. In this capacity our focus is to produce Into the Bardo, a feature length film that will explore issues of impermanence, loss and the ever present possibility of liberation.The Tapestry Initiative is dedicated to inquiry, meditation, shared experiences as well as drawing from the wisdom traditions from diverse cultures and traditions, in order to regain a creative relationship with the natural cycles of change.
