As manager of the Conservation Planning Program, my responsibilities include • Coordinating and developing annual and long-term research, harvest, and hatchery conservation plans for the Western Washington Indian Tribes consistent with the Endangered Species Act and tribal treaty rights • Assisting NWIFC tribes with federal grants and contracts for salmon recovery, hatchery reform, and Puget Sound ecosystem restoration • Continuing and building on the work described below for the Genetics and Ecology program.
