As a Private, Assurance Services, Partner in the Cleveland office of our Lake Erie market with over 20 years of experience working with privately-held businesses and publicly-traded companies in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, metals and industrial products. I have worked with private equity portfolio companies; family owned businesses as well as large multi-national public companies. I have significant technical accounting expertise as well as advising clients in the area of systems, processes and controls. In January 2009, I completed a tour in our National Quality Office in Florham Park, NJ serving in the Accounting Services Group, consulting engagement teams on technical accounting matters. During that time, I specialized in business combinations, impairments, accounting for goodwill and bankruptcy accounting and consulted with teams in all industries, public and private. During this tour, I also assisted in the preparation of various thought leadership publications and presented recent accounting and reporting developments to multiple client and industry groups.
