ABOUT KENNETH BARKER

I am a seasoned Healthcare & Financial Professional with over 30 plus years experience. My background includes Individual & Senior sales, Commercial group and Specialty products. Government Programs (Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP), Healthcare Product & Business Development and Analysis, Provider Servicing, Claim System Processing, Customer Service, Enrollment & Membership Retention, CMS Audit Process, and the Financial Services Industry (Life, Accident & Health Insurance and Securities - Series 6 and 63). I have served in various positions from Manager to Director for large Healthcare organizations such as Anthem Inc, Molina, WellPoint (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Coventry, United American Health Plan and Humana Inc. In addition to serving the healthcare industry, I incorporated Financial services to my consultant background, and served as a Registered Representative with Transamerica Financial Advisors. Formerly, as a Business Development & Sales Consultant, my passion was to identify and solve problems: • I identified and developed new business growth initiatives by maximizing strategies and growth opportunities in targeted markets • Primary focus to make solid recommendations for the business unit based on in-depth research and analysis of data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer, competitive conditions and trends. • Serve as a Project Manager on several projects. “Out of Box” thinking is what I enjoy, and developed several marketing campaigns to support Broker, Telesales and Field sales initiatives. As a Financial and Health Insurance Professional, my passion for solving problems and developing solutions are carried over to a more direct personal approach for consumer based solutions, and helping them acquire their financial independence.
