Function autonomously in performing age-appropriate history, shared decision-making and cancer screening, including planning, performance, follow-up and referrals, for seven types of cancer. • Provide guidance to the “ScreenNJ” Mobile Health Unit, Community Outreach and Engagement and Patient Navigation Teams regarding evidence-based screening guidelines and practice updates. • Develop strong relationships with Health Care Providers within Rutgers and surrounding Community to effectively facilitate assessment and referral of patients to appropriate cancer screenings.• Confer with Collaborative Physician to review and discuss current evidence-based practice screening measures, referrals and treatment plans.• Round with Collaborative Physician to enhance knowledge of various types of cancer, pathophysiology, epidemiology and patient-provider treatment plans.• Attend Rutgers Cancer Institute Trainee Seminars and other educational opportunities to expand content knowledge and stay current on best practices for “Screen NJ” Mobile Health Unit. • Conduct Provider interviews for expansion of Mobile Health Unit Team, ensuring potential candidates possess the qualities required in accordance with Rutgers mission statement, core values and organizational objectives.
