ABOUT KENNETH A.

President of the University of Liverpool Solicitors Society and Co-Founder/CEO of Octacove. In Year 13, I was named the highest-achieving student for the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Business in my cohort. In the summer between Year 13 and first-year I completed my first legal work experience at Taylor Wessing. During my first-year of University I was competitively selected to attend first year insight schemes at: Kirkland & Ellis, Gibson Dunn, Clifford Chance, Vinson & Elkins, Shearman & Sterling, Hogan Lovells, Herbert Smith Freehills, DLA Piper, Fieldfisher, Eversheds Sutherland, RPC and Cleary Gottlieb. Further, I was nominated as one of Powerlist Magazine’s Top 150 Future Leaders and as a Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship Candidate by my University. As a “highly-commended” Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship Candidate, I was awarded access to a personal mentor and work experience with the firm’s Disputes Resolution and Business Development teams. I also participated in UpReach Tech500, Rare Articles and City Solicitors Horizons.During my second-year of University, I was exposed to internships with two of the world’s leading law firms: White & Case where I worked in the financial restructuring and insolvency team and DLA Piper where I worked in the leveraged finance and real estate teams. Other assessment centres/superdays were conducted at: PIMCO, Goldman Sachs, Hogan Lovells, Fieldfisher, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Ashurst. In my final year of University, I was shortlisted as a candidate for the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2024 List and offered a Highly Commended Award at the University of Liverpool’s first EQ+ awards
