I am a Senior Modelling and Simulation scientist in the Digital Science Team.I identify use cases and build mathematical models of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes at varying levels of detail. The models are useful across the different stages of the drug development cycle - to name a few: reducing the number of physical experimentation, maximizing information we can gather in experiments we do run, supplement process design and optimization, improve process understanding, and enhance transferability of learnings across drug projects.I identify repeat applications of modelling technologies and democratize them to the right teams across AZ. This involves developing and deploying web-apps, and ensuring that the adopting teams have the right support in adopting and integrating the tools into their daily workflows.
