The Director of Talent Acquisition and Development is responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screenings, interviews and hiring. They work closely with management and executive teams to understand the talent needs and business objectives, and to create a talent acquisition and development strategy that aligns with these goals. The role also includes building relationships with potential candidates, managing talent pipelines and developing employer branding initiatives to make the company an attractive place to work. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of skilled trades and professional recruitment, as well as experience building workforce and talent development programs in collaboration with educational institutions, community partners and internal stakeholders.
