I’m excited to share a bit of my journey as a senior at Benedict College, where I’m majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice Administration, and preparing for graduation in May 2026. Driven by a deep curiosity about human behavior and a passion for making a meaningful impact, I remain committed to academic excellence, leadership, and personal growth.Throughout my college experience, I’ve had the honor of being actively involved in several organizations that have shaped my leadership and service mindset, including the Sigma Xi Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, Inc, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Collegiate 100, and the Benedict College School of Honors. I’m incredibly proud to have earned the 4.0 President’s Trophy, to be selected as a UNCF K–12 Education Fellow, and to be part of the inaugural cohort of the 100 Black Men of America/Coca-Cola Leadership Institute. Each of these experiences has strengthened my commitment to scholarship, service, and purpose-driven leadership.This year, I am humbled to serve as Mister Senior for the 2025–2026 academic year, a role that allows me to uplift my peers, foster campus pride, and help cultivate unity and excellence within the Benedict College community.In addition to my academic and leadership roles, I serve as the Football Equipment Manager for the Benedict College Tigers Football Team. This position has allowed me to merge my love for athletics with my long-term aspiration of becoming a Sports Psychologist, while gaining firsthand insight into teamwork, resilience, and the mental demands placed on student-athletes.As I look ahead, I’m excited to continue growing as a scholar and leader, embracing new challenges, and building meaningful connections along the way.    As a Football Equipment Manager for the Benedict College Tigers, I play a critical role in ensuring the team’s operational success and on-field readiness. My responsibilities include:Coordinating the distribution, maintenance, and inventory of football equipment and gear.Ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and is game-day ready to support optimal player performance.Assisting coaches and players during practices and games to maintain smooth operations.Managing logistics for team travel, including equipment packing and preparation for away games.Collaborating with staff to implement efficient workflows that enhance team productivity.Successes & Highlights:Contributed to the team’s championship-winning season in 2023 as SIAC Champions, earning a championship ring.Played a vital role in creating a safe and organized environment that allows the team to focus on their performance.Gained hands-on experience that directly supports my academic focus in psychology and aspirations for a career in sports management and sports psychology.
