About Ken Hedberg

Since 2012, I have consulted with dozens of firms with revenues ranging from $3M to $100M including in professional services | manufacturing | financial services | technology - software, security, service | employee benefits | and non-profits. In all situations, I helped drive sustainable, profitable growth.I now enjoy a \"portfolio career\", with several roles allowing me to give back to my constituents and clients. Current roles include Senior Consultant at Pivotal Advisors, improving the performance and results of sales organizations; Principal at Kenneth Hedberg Consulting Group, focused on strategy execution, driving growth, strategy formation, and executive assessment and coaching; mentor to Hamline University Business School students and Prior Lake-Savage Schools students in the Bridges Alternative High School.I served as Mayor of Prior Lake, Minnesota, an elected official, for a four-year term beginning in January, 2013, after serving as a member of the city council from 2007. I consider my term as a public servant for ten years as a career highlight.In earlier roles I served as Interim COO at Lighthouse Software from 2013 to 2016, Chair at Vistage International from 2013 to 2015, partner at CLG (now Alula) from 2011 to 2012, President of PDRI from 2002 to 2011, and many roles at PDI from 1987 to 2001 up to President and COO for five years. In the early stages of my career, I spent 3 years at IBM, and 10 years with NCS.My experience includes a three-year assignment starting up European operations and expanding in Asia while living in Brussels, Belgium. I maintain a personal, business and professional network throughout western Europe and the UK, and in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Jakarta, Sydney and Melbourne.
