Develop, manage and supports recruitment strategies for our Student Internships and Recent Grad / Developmental programs, while maintaining, engaging, and enriching university outreach relations. Leverage recruitment opportunities to achieve recruitment goals for special programs and initiatives. Advise based on market and industry recruitment trends, identifies growing professions, and coordinates on the development of program guidelines.Consult with business units to identify current needs and develop strategic recruitment plans to support the strategies. Serve as an advisor to managers on recruitment programs and processes. Evaluate effectiveness of recruitment strategies and events and makes adjustments as appropriate. Gathers, monitors and reports recruitment metrics to evaluate and report on recruitment strategy effectiveness. Summarizes and reports recruitment metrics to inform on program progress. Manage the recruitment and hiring process to ensure adherence to policies and timelines, including posting job openings, application support, screening candidates, and pre-employment activities. Guides recruiters on the process of qualifying candidates and conducting interviews using behaviorally based questions and techniques to assess the competencies of potential employees. Manage the planning, development and implementation of collateral in support of recruitment strategies and programs, such as realistic job previews, job aids, informational brochures, radio and television spots, etc. Researches and incorporates tools and strategies to leverage technology to enhance recruitment efforts, such as social networking, applicant tracking systems, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Monitor laws and regulations to determine impact on existing recruitment programs and procedures. Develops program modifications as necessary. Coordinate / attend various recruitment outreach events to promote external DEI and USPS employment opportunities.
