ABOUT KEN HUTT
I am a multi-disciplinary estimator with diverse experience of infrastructure projects tendering for highways, rail, water and consultancy opportunities. I am also a passionate supporter of environmentally conscious construction and see the industry aims to reduce waste, use renewable materials and, improve efficiency as fundamental commercial aims.I would like to focus on how greater data insights can inform decision making within the industry. Data capture is becoming more widespread within construction; I want to shape how estimating can change to lead in this growth area. The earlier in the production process that change can be implemented the greater the impact and likelihood to be embraced. The estimating process begins at the earliest stages of a projects inception and is therefore best placed to inform change.
