ABOUT KARANBIR GREWAL

A dynamic, creative, results-oriented, dedicated, seasoned medical doctor, physician leader, medical researcher, and business executive, Dr. Karanbir Grewal is committed to creating high performance and value teams and organizations in healthcare. Dr. Grewal is a highly experienced interventional cardiologist who is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also certified by the Heart Rhythm Society for pacemaker and defibrillator cardiac devices. He is known for his advanced techniques and dedication to improving outcomes for his patients through research and collaboration. Dr. Grewal has served as the Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. He completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California, and a fellowship in cardiology at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center / University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital and Medical Center / Rush University in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Dr. Grewal earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in Patiala, India. Bringing more than two decades of cardiovascular experience to his practice, Dr. Grewal specializes in advanced cardiac and vascular procedural skills with minimally invasive approaches. He has vast experience performing more than invasive and surgical procedures on the heart & circulation.Dr. Grewal is the medical director of the STEMI Receiving Center Program and Interventional Cardiology & Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Adventist Health and Rideout Medical Center where he is the recipient of the Physician of the Year award. He is actively involved in community service and is the President of Yuba-Sutter-Colusa Medical Society. He has served as the vice president of Board of Directors of SNMG, a Sutter Health organization.He is a professional in a leadership role with a proven track record of success.
