Closely partner and provide VP FInance FP & A and Senior Executives including CFO with ad hoc and periodic reporting to explain variances, highlighting risks and opportunities within the organization. Prepare annual Long Range Plans. Monitor and maintain financial databases to ensure consistency for external and internal management reporting. Directly manage and develop four direct reports (3 Senior Analysts and 1 Manager)- Consolidate, analyze and report on OPEX spending for Corporate expenses worldwide which includes IT, Finance, HR, Strategy, Marketing, Legal, Sourcing, Fringe/Incentives. Annual plan/forecast/close responsibility has expanded from $330M to $530M - Partner closely with regional finance and local/international business partners to set, track and report financial performance - Propose cost reduction targets and develop subsequent reports and procedures to assist in tracking cost saving initiatives. Cost savings for 2013 is currently projected to be $23M - Led the successful design and creation of worldwide reporting and consolidation for Senior Executives - Responsible for worldwide total company CAPEX consolidation and reporting - Proposed, led and implemented a Shared Service Model to allow the San Francisco based FP & A team to concentrate on proactive analysis and value creation for the Corporate functions - Worked in the design, implementation and testing for 4 new management reporting databases (Essbase) to ensure consistency with existing databases, data integrity and that future organizational changes are easily supported - Supported the implementation of SAP by highlighting areas of risk and performed data integrity testing - Automated forecast file generation to increase productivity and provide ease of use for busy executives and non-finance business partners
