ABOUT KENDYL SKINNER

I am an experienced and passionate HR professional with a strong track record in creating people-centered solutions that drive business success. With a focus on employee experience, I have held various leadership roles at BARK and currently at Orange Barrel Media, where I have developed and implemented innovative programs and strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.During my tenure as the Director of Employee Experience at BARK, I led a team responsible for Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Onboarding/Offboarding, Events, Wellness, and Internal Recognition. Some of my key accomplishments include developing BARK\'s first Leadership Development Program, implementing LinkedIn Learning as our internal LMS, and creating a consistently evolving onboarding experience, including a fully remote option during Covid.Previously, I served as the People Operations Manager at BARK, where I provided strategic guidance to leaders, maintained an \"open door\" policy for employee communications, and effectively resolved complex employee issues. As the Workplace Experience Manager, I managed BARK\'s Columbus Office facilities, planned engagement activities, and collaborated with external partners on the design of our award-winning Columbus Headquarters.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University and have been recognized as one of the Top 50 Young Professionals to Know by Columbus CityPulse. My certifications include SHRM-SCP and Motivating & Managing Talent from The Wharton School. I am dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and driving business success through people-focused strategies.
