About Kendra Alexander

As the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at East Carolina University, I lead the Major Gifts and Prospect Development teams within University Advancement. With over 17 years of experience in Advancement, I have successfully raised over $65 million for ECU students and programs. I am passionate about providing opportunities for Pirates to give back their time, talent, and treasures to ECU and our deserving students. I also serve on the ECU University Advancement Leadership team and partner with campus leaders to foster a culture of philanthropy and engagement. Prior to my current role, I was the Assistant Director of Planned Giving at ECU, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in estate planning practices, procedures, and methods. I am committed to inspiring leadership and coaching to staff members and working effectively with faculty, staff, administration, donors and volunteers.
