Hey there! I\'m Kendra Wood, and I\'m all about diving deep into systems and making them sing! Exploring systems and figuring out how they work has been a love of mine since our family got our first computer back in the early ‘90s. In my current role, I\'ve been on a quest to streamline our HR processes with the power of technology. From wrangling platforms like Paycom ATS to configuring Cornerstone SBX Performance, I\'ve led the charge in making our systems not just efficient but delightful to use.In my spare time, you\'ll likely find me strategizing in games like Transport Fever or Outlander, cooking up potatoes in some form (potato salad is a personal favorite!), diving into psychology books for some fascinating reads, or lending a helping hand through volunteering with Wichita Women for Good!Now, let\'s geek out a bit on the tech side! Alongside my passion for HR tech, I bring solid skills in system integration and optimization. At Meritrust, I identified opportunities for system consolidation, resulting in significant cost savings and operational efficiency improvements. My hands-on experience with Cornerstone SBX (formerly Saba) and Paycom has not only involved deployment but also user training and integration between the two.My background in instructional design and eLearning development adds another layer to my skill set. I\'ve designed and produced engaging multimedia eLearning content, managed extensive libraries of third-party content, and spearheaded initiatives such as the implementation of a skills assessment module within Saba LMS to support robust workforce planning strategies.Currently, I\'m pursuing my HRIP certification, building upon past certifications in instructional design and supervision. My commitment to continuous professional growth is evident through my active involvement with organizations such as ICT Women in Tech, Wichita SHRM, and my obsession with HR podcasts and YouTube channels.
