Communication & Engagement Manager @Perdoceo Education Corporation
Schaumburg, IL, US
As Communications and Engagement Manager for Perdoceo Education Corporation, I serve Colorado Technical University (CTU) and the American Intercontinental University System (AIUS); which includes AIU, Trident, CalSouthern, and DigitalCrafts. I lead initiatives that strengthen communication, engagement, and community across multiple institutions. My role balances leadership accountability, strategic planning, and operational execution to ensure that employees and students feel informed, recognized, and connected. This includes launching new employee engagement committees and recognition programs, expanding communication platforms and content series, and producing regular leadership messaging. I have successfully planned and delivered high-impact events such as commencements, university-wide celebrations, and employee appreciation initiatives. Additionally, I’ve introduced creative engagement programs, strengthened cross-departmental collaboration through quarterly meetings, and enhanced efficiency by implementing new internal communication tools and system-wide planning.

ABOUT KENDRA TEMPLE
After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in 2003 from UCLA, I worked as a professional performer; singing, dancing and acting across the country. When I decided that I was ready to live in one city, I returned to Southern California, where I began working at Trident University International (TUI). My journey here has been one of variety and opportunity, which has enabled me to develop, grow and broaden my skill sets all under one roof without the need to change organizations. I began in administration, worked in marketing, traveled as a field Liaison, managed a remote field team and have now entered into partnership management while also overseeing our departments process development, marketing coordination, event research/facilitation, budgeting and ongoing strategic development of tools and resources to improve efficiencies for our remote field teams (now roughly 20 military and corporate representatives). I am passionate about what I do and am committed to the success of our students, prospective students, the Outreach and Partnerships team and Trident. I look forward to a career that allows me to develop, evolve and transform into someone I never thought I could be, but always knew I had the potential to become. My next step in this process will be completing my MBA.
