ABOUT KENDRA NGUYEN
I have expertise in project management, marketing, and brand strategy across community health, economic development, and healthcare and real estate management industries. Currently, I serve as an Economic Development Coordinator at City Heights CDC, where I support 45+ entrepreneurs and contribute to initiatives influencing $14M+ in community funding through program operations, outreach, and partnership. My work is deeply shaped by personal experience. After struggling with severe acne, I became more aware of how closely skin health is tied to one\'s confidence, identity, and access to care. That perspective led me to serve as Miss Vietnam San Diego 2024, later developing a community initiative EMpower Skin Health focused on skin health education and access to underserved populations. Long-term, I\'m interested in the intersection of skin health, beauty, and brand strategy where product, curated storytelling, and consumer health come together.
