About Kendra Jacomo
With over a decade of experience in biotechnology and conservation, I have developed a unique blend of skills in scientific research, process automation, and team leadership. My career has spanned roles from hands-on research and technical development to leadership positions, where I’ve overseen teams and spearheaded initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.At InBio, I lead the ELISA 2.0 product line, focusing on automating production processes that deliver both time and cost savings while ensuring high quality. My role involves cross-functional collaboration, project management, and process optimization—skills I honed during my tenure at Moderna, where I supervised a high-throughput production team and played a key role in scaling up critical DNA synthesis processes.Beyond my lab-based work, I’m deeply committed to wildlife conservation. I’ve been fortunate to contribute through volunteering with organizations such as the Rivanna Conservation Alliance, New England Aquarium, The Wildlife Center of Virginia and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, where I led community initiatives in habitat restoration, environmental education, and wildlife monitoring in additional to working as a wildlife rehabilitator.Driven by my passion for scientific innovation and conservation, I am always looking to leverage my skills to make a meaningful impact, whether through advancing biotech solutions or promoting environmental sustainability.
