Began as a temporary employee responsible for 1099 reporting and grew the position into special projects and doing whatever the department needs. Currently, I have been charged with converting vendors to ACH payments. This is a highly visible role because conversion assists with department efficiency and improving customer service. The goal is 85% buy-in by vendors and we started around 50% across the board for all entities. We have seen sizable movement over the past month or so by changing the processes that were cumbersome and overwhelming to something that meets all the goals of proper documentation to avoid fraud yet increasing conversion from about 20 vendors a week to 70 or so.
