ABOUT KENDRA BRAZEAU
It was a great joy and honor to return to St. Johnsbury Academy as part of the Admission team in the fall of 2014. I have the privilege of sharing this great school with prospective students and families from the Northeast Kingdom, across the U.S, and internationally, from Germany to Mexico to Vietnam, as well approximately 30 other countries. I especially adore connecting with alumni and their families during my travels, and seeing first-hand the transformative power of a St. Johnsbury Academy education in so many graduates\' lives. From doctors and lawyers to actors, architects, marketing, finance, hospitality and design professionals, and so many other fields, Academy graduates are making us proud worldwide every day. My satisfaction and joy in seeing the love and loyalty that our alumni demonstrate cannot be overstated! My many years in the classroom and as a dorm parent have been invaluable in my Admission role. I am a collaborative and enthusiastic educator with extensive and diverse experience teaching French and English as a Second Language. My professional strengths include classroom management, student growth and development, technology integration, and incorporating creativity into the design and delivery of curriculum. I take pride in offering students and their parents individualized support to ensure needs are being met and students are equipped for success.Teaching specialties: Project-based learning, teaching methods such as Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS), fostering communicative skills, and integrating technology into the curriculum.
