About Kendall Hyatt Vernon
I earned my BS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011 with Summa Cum Laude honors and my ME in Computer Engineering from the University of Tulsa with a 4.0 GPA. I worked as a software engineer for about 12 years with a focus on C / C++ for embedded systems, but traveling all the way up the software stack to GUI design and even web development.In June 2020 I launched Gaidama, the first ever Jiu Jitsu gear brand to specialize in grappling wear for women, and now an industry leader for technical, high performance Jiu Jitsu gear for women, men, and children.As Gaidama grew, I eventually transitioned away from Software Engineering and now pursue Gaidama full time as CEO.
