As a Superintendent and General Foreman I have had the opportunity to gain experience in the fields of Piping, Glycol Tracing, Hydro Testing and Instrumentation. For a brief time I managed a work force of electricians in an Edmonton modular facility. During my career I have enjoyed working in modular facilities and in field construction. As a Superintendent and General Foreman of Piping/Glycol/Tracing and Instrumentation I was responsible for the overall construction of the systems including hydro testing/reinstatement to ensure system tightness and completeness and the safety of the workforce. As a Work Face Planner/Coordinator I have experience in the Piping / Glycol Tracing fields. During my time as a Planner/Coordinator I have built F.I.W.P’s, Test Packages, Monitored Progress, Wrote R.F.I’s, performed Material Take Offs, Liaised with the client on various issues and levels. I believe the addition of the Work Face Planning role to my Industrial Construction Supervisory roles have made me a well rounded professional. The areas of Industrial Construction which I have worked in are: Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Chemical and Plastics and Mining.
