ABOUT KEN BELL

I’m a strong payments industry professional skilled in cash flow acceleration, AR automation, AP monetization, operational efficiencies, tax benefits, Level II and Level interchange optimization, and Straight-Through-Processing (STP). As an Econ major who went straight into financial services after college, I have been advising clients ever since. I got my insurance license and LUTCF designation at my first job out of college. Later I became a registered investment advisor (RTA) with Raymond James and Associates. I have 12 years of experience in the merchant services industry. Most of it with North American Bancard. For the first ten years, I focused on the B2C market. I served businesses like automotive repair shops, general hardware stores, and restaurants. Over the last 2 years, I have concentrated on the B2B market through my company, KB Better Business Solutions. I’m passionate about helping middle-market companies get involved in the move toward digital transformation and automation. We have helped dozens of construction, transportation, manufacturing, and wholesale companies make the switch to electronic payments and AR/AP automation. I began every weekday at my neighborhood gym at 5:30 am. I’m such a regular they call me ‘Mr. Brookhaven LA Fitness’. I have made quite a few friends at the gym. And we motivate each other, talk about current news events, and check on one another if we go missing for more than a few days. On the weekends I’m an avid reader and sports fan. My favorite sports are the PGA, MLB, NFL, and NBA. I moved to Atlanta 9 years ago from Memphis. I love it here. The summer music festivals are great. I love the convenience of Atlanta Jackson-Hartsfield airport to travel back home and to other business and pleasure destinations.
