Initially performed a BIA for US Customs Service identifying exposures within over 400 entry points and all IT applications; responded during the 911 Attacks; featured in a Frontline New Documentary movie on the US Customs House during 911. We had 749 employees present and the building was totally destroyed, yet we did not suffering one injures due to them following our contingency plans. After all flights had been grounded, only US Customs were allowed to fly. Participated in performing tests at the Alternate White House Site. Developed contingency plans for DHS ICE; developed plans for the Alternate White House; Designed and establish the EOC during Katrina; assisted in the logistics to have 12 responders receive their shots and deployed to New Orleans. 32 Sites were effected by storm. 24 back online in 48 hours; 6 were back by November and the other 2 were destroyed down to the foundations. I received 2 awards for my participation and became a Founding Member of the Department of Homeland Security.
