New year and new beginnings! I am excited to share that in addition to my current responsibilities, I now have the privilege of leading the broader physical security operations team as well as health and safety governance for Expedia Group. It is a wonderful team of professionals now fully organized into a new business model within our Global Workplace Solutions team, partnering with our People Team as a vital component of our People and Places organization! Exciting times and looking forward to all the opportunities ahead!Having transitioned to the role of Risk, Intelligence, Investigations and Executive Security, Ken has engagement and oversight of external law enforcement agency relationships, geopolitical risk, intelligence, security related internal and external investigations and security matters as it pertains to senior executives. This role is global in scope and in partnership with trusted colleagues operating in complex regions throughout the world. We believe travel is a force for good.As the Americas\' Regional Security Manager Ken led the overall Expedia Group Seattle campus security readiness and has security oversight of the Seattle campus and over 80 Expedia Group offices through North, Central, and South America as well as the Caribbean. Fundamental security responsibilities include regional threat detection, reporting, mitigation, and management. Security build project design, security system implementation, security budgets, contracts, and staff management. Ken also serves as the primary security member for the Expedia Group Crisis Triage team and manages event security throughout the region.As the Director of Security supporting Datacenter Physical Security for the Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Operations team, Ken has business support team oversight for datacenter physical security operations and support worldwide.As the Director of Global Security Services, Ken led Raytheon Missile Systems (MS) Global Security organization from an Unsatisfactory security rating to three consecutive Superior ratings within six years. MS designs, develops, and produces systems for critical requirements, including air and missile defense, naval warfare, land combat systems, guided projectiles, space operations, and directed energy weapons. MS is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona and employs approximately personnel within markets throughout the world. MS annual revenues are in excess of five billion dollars. MS Global Security employs over 300 professionals and operates on an annual budget of over 16 million dollars.
