I have five Commodity Managers, one Supplier Sourcing Engineer, and one Strategic Sourcing Coordinator on my team. We manage approximately $40-$85 million dollars of direct and indirect material spend each year. We purchase many items including: castings, engines, motors, raw material, capital equipment, MRO, hardware, mechanical seals, electrical components, gaskets, o-rings, paint, fabrications, etc. We work with about 975 suppliers. Most of our supply chain members are located in the USA. We do work directly with suppliers located in Canada, China, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, & Japan. We send scorecards each quarter to 126 of our largest suppliers who typicially make up about 75%-80% of our total spend. We measure on-time delivery, quality, and price performance on our scorecards. Each month we review our department KPI\'s.
