Helped develop a District and state-wide We the People program for elementary, middle, and high school levels and facilitated seminars ranging from one day to one week. Oversaw a grant program for professional development from the Center for Civic Education for the Blue Valley District, including two week-long summer institutes over the Bill of Rights and the Civil Rights Movement. Supported the development of the We the People program in various elementary and middle schools in the Blue Valley School District. Co-created and helped facilitate a National four-part webinar entitled, “Teaching Federalism in Real Time Through the COVID-19 Pandemic” with the Center for Social Studies Engagement at Kansas State University, the Johnson County First Amendment Foundation, and the Center for Civic Education. Sponsor of twelve state We the People championship teams that represented the state of Kansas in the National We the People competition. Sponsored teams won two regional awards at the National Finals.
