ABOUT KEN ROWE

VP of Operations at Apex Service Partners in Northern California. Previously a Partner at SwingSearch and had the privilege of leading a team to place talent at a range of hiring levels, from senior individual contributors to C-level executives at Seed to Series D companies.Prior to SwingSearch served as a Senior Director at N2Growth in the firm\'s Executive Search Practice based in San Francisco. In this role, I advised both clients and senior executives on talent management, succession planning, executive search and performance management. Prior to moving to San Francisco, I completed a year long fellowship as an Advisor to the Mayor of Boston through the Harvard Business School Leadership Fellows Program. I worked as an internal strategic consultant for the Mayor, the Mayor\'s Chief of Staff, and members of the Mayor\'s Cabinet on large impact projects focused on commercial real estate, waste management contract negotiations, public transportation, affordable housing, veteran services and education.Earlier in my career, I was an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army for six years which consisted of two combat deployments to Afghanistan. I spent over three years in direct leadership roles as a Platoon Leader managing teams of 24 - 45 American Soldiers in training and in combat in a light infantry unit and a special operations unit. In my final role in the Army, I served as a General\'s Aide de Camp for the Deputy Commanding General of the Army\'s Research Development and Engineering Command. I received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Environmental Geography (with honors) from the United States Military Academy at West Point. I\'m a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada.
