His dedication to this mission has earned him honors such as the 40 Under 40 Award, Crain’s Detroit “Top 10 to Watch,” and recognition as a Goldman Sachs 10KSB alum. He is also a BMe Vanguard and a Fellow with the American Express Social Justice Leadership Academy through the Center for Creative Leadership.As Chief Visionary of PMG Agency, Ken has led national and local campaigns for mission-driven organizations, with expertise spanning conference branding, strategic communications, storytelling, film production, and experience design.He also serves as Executive Producer of PMG’s original film series, Journey of Stories, which highlights the aspirations and impact of Black leaders around the world. The latest documentary, Soul & Harmony: Black Love – Black Expression, features the journeys of seven Black changemakers from Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Harlem.Ken is the curator of the Journey Fellowship, supported by Flagstar Foundation. The program engages Black boys ages 11–19 from Detroit mentorship communities like YMCA BYMOC and Caught-Up Mentoring. Through asset-framed storytelling, visual art, filmography, and spoken word, fellows explore identity and reshape narratives about themselves and their communities.For the past 15 years, Ken has led PMG Agency as President, producing dynamic experiences and narrative campaigns rooted in asset-framing—a model that defines people by their aspirations and contributions. His creative leadership and strategic thinking make him a trusted partner to foundations, nonprofits, and community-centered organizations.Ken serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the Detroit Parent Network and the Board of Caught-Up Mentoring, continuing his work at the intersection of narrative, culture, and community.
