Manage, develop, administer, and promote credit and noncredit industrial technology programs, grant-funded workforce development programs, apprenticeship training, company-specific HR/Training department curriculum, and customized contracted training for industry. This is accomplished by working with college staff, faculty, and community representatives to ensure the programs, courses, instructors, technology, equipment, and instruction are relevant and current to local industry needs.• Responsible for the direct oversight of the Skilled Trades and Advanced Manufacturing degree programs, including the Automotive, Computer-Aided Design, Construction Management, Electrical, Electromechanical, HVAC/R, Industrial Maintenance Millwright, Instrumentation and Process Control, Machine Repair, Sustainable Energy, and Welding technologies.• Responsible for directly overseeing the Skilled Trades and Advanced Manufacturing noncredit industrial programs, grant-funded workforce development programs, and apprenticeship training, including Lineworker training, CDL training, Industrial Maintenance training, IPC training, Pathways to Manufacturing training, and Precision Machining. • Collaborate with Community Education to market and sell contracted training to Businesses and Industries. •Recruit and manage program managers, faculty, administrative staff, lab workers, adjunct instructors, and noncredit instructors. • Teach credit courses and deliver contracted training as required.• Represent the College to community organizations and employers.• Maintain a professional working relationship with industry members and leaders.• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special assignments that reflect institutional and individual goals and objectives relating to this position and the administrative team.
