About Ken Lemon

Extensive background in manufacturing operations with 20 plus years of progressive leadership experience. My latest position being that of Quality Manager at General Aviation Industries in Weatherford Texas.I started my career in 1985 as a machinist, and reached Journey level status having completed a 4 year Machinist Apprenticeship. This prepared me for my future in supervision and management because I understand how things are done on the shop floor, and the pitfalls that may be faced. I worked as a machinist for 15 years working my way up to Production Supervisor. In the years since I have held numerous management positions in different companies including Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Quality Manager, and Operations Manager.Committed to Quality as well as the requirements of AS9100 and I have cultivated strong organizational / time management skills, as well as exemplary problem solving skills with the ability to identify problems and implement corrective actions. I have a successful record of improved production utilizing Six Sigma Lean principles. My goal as a manager is to make the organization successful thru my knowledge of machine shop processes, the use of Six Sigma lean principles, employee development, and always driving for greater things.
