   Establishes, directs, and oversees the creation of the business technology strategy, roadmap, long-term goals, and data integrity- Oversees the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of all hardware, systems, programs, and software to meet business needs and drive business goals- Oversees the creation and update of IT policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure risk mitigation, effective and consistent information-processing operations and to safeguard information- Leads, manages, and develops the IT staff including hiring, training, evaluating, guiding and corrective action to meet the needs of the company- Defines, creates, develops, and manages all risk policies related to Business Technology. This includes presentation to the Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors as required. Conducts cost/benefit and other studies to assess technical debt and current risk- Oversees the creation and management of all financial aspects of IT for WoodmenLife, including budget, business case creation, solution justification, spending within authority, business case monitoring, and contract negotiation strategies- Keeps current with the latest technologies and proactively and regularly determining what new technology solutions and implementations will enhance our business, system, and compliance needs and provides insight and guidance to organization- Communicates regularly, clearly, and accurately with senior management, all users of information services and systems, and key vendors. Interacts with Sales Force and other internal departments to ensure information services is meeting member needs- Establishes priorities to assure they are aligned with Organization and Divisional goals and focuses staff to meet business objectives- Ensures key performance indicators are in place and reporting for areas to evaluate trending, staffing, and achieve service needs.
