   I primarily work on the Adult Medical Emergency Team (rapid response team). My responsibilities on AMET include drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases, airway stabilization and management, administration of respiratory medications, assisting with transferring patients to higher levels of care, and other duties as needed. Our team can respond quickly to unexpected changes in patients conditions to assist in stabilization of the patient, as a team we also monitor patients vital signs to identify patients who will likely need AMET intervention. I take pride in being part of our rapid response program, and in the positive impact that the team has had on patient care.
