I am a dedicated public safety leader with 36+ years of experience across police, fire, and military fields. I specialize in criminal investigations, operational leadership, and developing high-performing teams. My career is defined by advancing community safety, mentoring future leaders, and driving operational excellence.As a 27-year veteran of York Regional Police, I have held senior leadership roles in Criminal Investigations and in Operational Command. I directed complex cases, led critical incidents, and fostered a culture of accountability and collaboration.Currently, I serve as a volunteer Acting Captain with Springwater Fire and Emergency Services, providing leadership and gaining hands-on experience in emergency response, Hazmat operations, and fire safety protocols. I have completed specialized fire investigation training through the International Association of Arson Investigators and completed the NFPA 1033 Fire Investigator and NFPA 1031-1 Fire Inspector with certifications pending in 2025.As a Canadian Forces veteran, I bring discipline, collaboration, and a people-first leadership philosophy to every role.
