From the time he was a boy growing up in Pittsburgh, Ken has always been drawn to the old bones and buzz that make a city and its architectural landscape thrum with both history and humanity. Now, as the founder and principal architect behind Archive, Ken blends more than a decade of commercial and hospitality design experience at Franklin Alan and Hillstone Restaurant Group with that love for intentionally built and progressively preserved homes and hospitality concepts. Using classic sustainability and environmental principles as the baseline, Ken is on a mission to establish a new and more equitable paradigm for sustainability that includes community impact and the relational legacy of modern architecture to the neighborhood in which it sits. Ken studied Architecture and Interior Design at UT Austin, Parsons New School of Design, and Harvard University as well as philosophy at Notre Dame. His art installation work can also be seen at Raum Industries.
