Create objects, multiple instances of objects, data computation, push, pull, cache, manipulate data in arrays, multi-dimensional arrays through use of functions, methods and classes. Enjoy bash scripting computer processes to save time on the desktop applications and creating macros for the browser to save time surfing the web. Web development: Efficient with Apache web server, ownership and permissions, MySQL database and PHP scripting language. I’m well rounded in knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, Asynchronous Javascript and XML (AJAX). Efficient with Joomla, WordPress and Drupal web frameworks and can extend each. Photoshop and GIMP for bitmap editing, CorelDraw and Inkskape for vector imagery. Network administration: Set up, secure and maintain dedicated servers with: Web Server, FTP Server, Mail Server, DNS Server, Database(s), Spam Filter, Firewall(s). Desktop | Servers: Ubuntu 90•••04, Mac, Windows xp/Vista/7: Efficient with common OS desktop applications, apps, terminal and GUI programs. Expect Google Chrome OS to become the standard OS for computing across all platforms; desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices. Goals: Raise my three children to be self evaluating, continually improving, self motivating, inquisitive, empathetic, good finding, open minded individuals that ask why, seek and solve problems while being humble along the way.
