About Ken Bukowski

Ken has over 35 years of business experience and has held various leadership positions in the areas of security services, hospital and health system solutions, distribution and logistics, regulatory compliance, and GPO relations. He was previously with Allied Universal for over 12 years and led the team that has national responsibility for specialty markets, focused on providing customized solutions in the areas of strategy and implementation, business development, marketing, client experience/retention, regulatory compliance, operational support, and training. Ken has been a guest speaker at many seminars, webinars and conferences, presenting topics on healthcare security best practices and workplace violence prevention, including the 2013 ASHE and 2016 ASIS conferences. He has had over 20 articles published on security related topics and was an expert contributor for Potential – Workplace Violence Prevention and You Organizational Success by Bill Whitmore. Before joining Allied Universal, Ken held various leadership positions with Thermo Fisher Scientific (Fisher Healthcare) and Apria Healthcare beginning in 1986. Ken is very active in industry affiliations such as ASIS International, International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS – past chair of the Houston/Galveston Chapter), American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Ken is a graduate of Lamar University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing.
