    Leader of a team of over 100 scientists, engineers and support personnel conducting an annual average of $80M of component research and development efforts to develop next-generation technologies and concepts used on all current and future US Space Force spacecraft. Organize, recruit, train and supervise a diverse organization to create pervasive technologies both in-house and with collaborative research partners from government, industry and academia. Research teams specialties encompass spacecraft electronics (logic, memory, analog), structural components (truss, deployable structures, antennas), thermal management (OHP, PFL, etc.), advanced space power (generation, storage and distribution), space logistics technologies and concepts (robotics, astrodynamics, RPOD and GNC), and high-performance, resilient spacecraft bus and payload technologies. Teams are focused on technology transition, providing subject matter expertise to space and strategic programs of all sizes, and creating and enabling mission-oriented technology options to the US Space Force.
