Hi, and welcome to my profile! I am Kemoi George, B.S. Pharmaceutical Science from Florida A&M University and Incoming Cellular & Systems Pharmacology PhD student at the University of Florida. I am from the U.S. Virgin Islands, the very place that inspired my interest in the neuropharmacological impact of pharmaceutical drugs. My academic path and research interest in neuro-psychiatric disorders (substance use disorder, depression, schizophrenia) have steered me towards a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science (cellular & systems pharmacology concentration, translational focus) and, as of right now, a career as a clinical neuropharmacologist, to be an innovator in psychiatric drug development and treatment.
