I’ve always believed that diplomacy is not just about negotiation—it’s about navigating power, trust, and the technological frontiers shaping our future. As a Master\'s candidate at Johns Hopkins SAIS with a focus on China and Asia, I’ve anchored my academic and professional journey in understanding how emerging technologies and geopolitical competition converge across the Indo-Pacific.Because in the delicate choreography of international negotiation, I strive to be the bridge—linking nations across divides of distrust, technology, and ideology to shape a more stable and cooperative Asia-Pacific future.My path began with a dual major in Asian Studies and American Studies at Cornell, but it was my work with the United States Institute of Peace that truly sharpened my lens. There, I explored everything from China’s Belt and Road Initiative and digital authoritarianism to Taiwan’s evolving security landscape and the strategic implications of U.S-China competition in space and cyberspace. I led initiatives on China\'s influence in Africa, collaborated with local media in Taiwan ahead of the 2024 elections, and helped organize policy dialogues on North Korea’s diplomatic re-engagement.Whether organizing peace conferences in Seoul, shaping tech-focused policy memos, or analyzing China\'s partnerships with fragile states, I’ve remained committed to fostering an international order that can balance innovation with security, and competition with cooperation.My goal is to advance diplomatic strategies and technology policies that not only respond to China’s growing influence but also proactively shape a more stable, inclusive, and tech-resilient Asia-Pacific region.In the quiet corridors of diplomacy and the loud arenas of tech, I am forging a career that dares to ask: what kind of future do we want, and who gets to build it?
