On June 24, 2022 Silas was down in Washington, DC to receive the International Rhoda G. Sarnat Award,\"given to an individual that has significantly advanced the public image of professional social work\". This award is given out by the National Association of Social Workers Foundation (NASWF). He is an Independent Radio Public Affairs and Podcast Producer & Host. He is currently the creator, producer, and host of the Award-Winning \"Kelsunn On-The-Air\" Social Work Podcast. The program is available world-wide and can be heard on the Apple, Spotify, Anchor, Google, IHeart, Stitcher, and Amazon on their audio platforms among others. The podcast can also be viewed on the Spotify & YouTube video platforms. Feedspot.com curates podcast of various genres. Silas is also volunteers at Zion Gospel Church in Copiague, NY, as a Youth Mentor, a Food Pantry Worker, and the Director of the Media Ministry.
