ABOUT KELSIE DELLOS
Life is a blank canvas; you get to create your own image. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; however, there are an unlimited amount in the story you create. My goal is to make a difference in this world. With that, I became a nurse. I graduated from Western Dakota Technical Institute as a Registered Nurse. I graduated with honors; Sigma Alpha Pi Honor Society. I was president of the Nursing Club and class representative. I specialize in NICU on Maternal Child and thrive to impact the lives of each patient I work with. I take each day as a learning opportunity to be the best in my position, and I will continue to grow each year. I work in Maternal Child at Campbell County Hospital. I specialize in NICU, recovering patients in OB, surgical patients, and all postpartum cares. I didn’t just stop there. Every journey I took and skill I’ve learned while attending nursing school or in my field at the hospital, I wanted to give back to students. I am currently a Clinical Instructor at the Western Dakota Technical Institute Nursing Program where I teach labor, postpartum, NICU, and pediatrics/PICU. Due to having a rough childhood, I also wanted to give back to individuals who had a similar upbringing; however, didn’t make the best choices in life. I am currently a correctional Registered Nurse, where I strive to bring a positive atmosphere and attitude to every individual in these facilities. I find so much joy in providing their medical care and being a positive influence in their lives. To encourage them that they could still have a fulfilled and successful life by taking their mistakes and growing from them. I enjoy working with each patient, educating them, and providing them with the best care. I strive to be punctual, hard working, and have the willingness to continue to learn. I work with an incredible group of physicians, nurses, and assistants and take pride in the work we provide.
