I knew I wanted to be a writer when I was eight years old. I was a voracious reader who loved words and exploring new worlds. A core childhood memory is rushing home from summer day camp to sit in front of my grandma’s old manual typewriter to click-clack my latest story. Another is my dad reading The Hobbit to me before bed. I will never forget following Bilbo deep into the cave beneath the Misty Mountains and the thrill of meeting Gollum and hearing his “Riddles in the Dark.” Over the past 10 years, my passion for writing and storytelling has led me to a rewarding career that has included: working for start-ups, agencies and Fortune 500 companies creating copy for websites, digital campaigns (landing pages, paid ads, emails, social media posts), print brochures and blogs writing in the travel, fitness, wellness and tech industries collaborating with subject matter experts, web designers, content strategists, social media teams, graphic designers, videographers, fellow writers and other creatives Sitting at the intersection of content, marketing and strategy, I’m a customer-obsessed storyteller who leverages my love for collaboration to help businesses bolster their brand and capture their audience. My passion for UX and user-centric design extends beyond words to encompass user-centric information architecture, UX writing and visual design. I believe that compelling content is at the heart of every great user experience, and I strive to collaborate across teams to create narratives that not only inform but captivate, guide and inspire users through their online journeys.
