About Kelsey Keate
I am a Junior at Boston University majoring in Health Science with a concentration in Statistics. I’m particularly drawn to how data analytics, epidemiology, and emerging technologies like AI can inform strategic decision-making for healthcare providers, payers, and life sciences organizations. I am motivated by the challenge of translating complex data into actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes. Through my academic background, I have developed a quantitative foundation that allows me to approach healthcare challenges analytically, while remaining mindful of the broader policy, regulatory, and ethical landscape. I am especially interested in projects that strengthen health systems, support value-based care initiatives, and expand equitable access to high-quality services. Long term, I hope to work at the intersection of analytics and strategy, helping healthcare organizations implement data-driven solutions that create measurable and sustainable impact. Outside the classroom, I am passionate about cultural awareness and advocacy, and in my free time, I enjoy competitive swimming, acrylic painting, and otters.
