ABOUT KELSEY SMITH
I am an extremely motivated problem solver fascinated by microorganisms. I have been honored to spend the last nine years collaborating with healthcare workers to understand disease transmission in the healthcare environment to provide the safest possible environment for our patients to heal and recover. I am currently a DrPH student at Johns Hopkins University concentrating on Quality and Patient Safety. I am applying the skills I honed as an Infection Preventionist to the broader field of safe equitable patient care. I\'m very excited to dive into the practicum and dissertation phase of this learning while seeking new professional opportunities.
