About Kelsey McLaughlin
I am a well-trained biomedical researcher and experienced grant writer. My expertise includes physiology, molecular biology, and cancer biology. Before joining EGC, I conducted my graduate and postdoctoral research at East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine, where I studied metabolism in the context of multiple diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and neurological aging. I have extensive experience in scientific communication and preparing grant applications for various agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). As a Scientific Consultant at EGC, I enjoy providing strategies and assisting diverse scientists and entrepreneurs in obtaining non-dilutive funding to support their science and technology innovations. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, playing soccer, and spending time with my family and dogs.
