About Kelsey Kravitz
I serve as the Chief Recruiting Officer in the Downtown San Diego office where I lead all recruiting initiatives for the firm to attract and retain talent from a variety of industries. I am also responsible for the development and goal achievement of all our recruiters across San Diego, Oregon & Southwest Washington. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, I work alongside our financial advisors to identify and selectively source the right individuals to join the firm. I am passionate about the immense opportunity our advisors have to design their own lives and impact the lives of their clients.As a Los Angeles native, I was eager to live outside of CA and graduated from the University of Connecticut where I obtained my B.S. in Management with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Spanish. Following graduation, I moved to Boston and spent nearly 5 years working in the Boston tech industry in HR, recruiting, and operations. I moved back to LA in 2014 and continued my HR and recruiting career in entertainment before joining Northwestern Mutual, West Los Angeles in December of 2016. I spent 2.5 years building the West LA office where I recruited the most productive new class of advisors in my first year then relocated to San Diego, joining the Carlsbad team in July 2019. I rebuilt the Carlsbad team for nearly 3 years and joined our downtown office in June 2022 to continue downtown\'s growth.Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and leading a healthy lifestyle to balance my passion for baking.
